My experience with Gateway Sunrooms and Shades was a positive experience. I knew what I wanted and my representative, Peter Thiessen, was quick to get me the design drawings and quotes. He tailored a specific design around our existing home, decks and garage and made an excellent fit that doesn’t look like a cheap add on. We had one small warranty issue that Peter attended to immediately and to our satisfaction. They were careful , respectful and considerate to my family, home and pets during construction. The project came in right on time and budget . We will enjoy the two rooms we added to our home for years.
In the summer of 2015, I had Gateway Sunrooms and Shades replace my existing deck roof with their pre-manufactured roof. I was very impressed with the quality of the product along with the professionalism provided by Peter Thiessen. The new patio roof gave us extra headroom along with a new clean look. Peter was easy to talk to and understood what I was looking for in improving my deck area. The job was completed on time and within the described budget. The new roof has definitely added to the value of my home.
I really appreciated that once the job was started, I was the main project your guys were working on. I appreciate every day someone was here working and focused on this job and that there was no coming and going with days in-between. I liked that your guys were friendly, familiar to me and my family, and accommodating for my dogs. I felt like they knew what they were doing and I was comfortable with them being around my house and yard. I felt important and focused on, and it gave me confidence seeing you here doing some of the work yourself, because then I knew it was done right.
The structure itself seems strong and sturdy. We have had wind and rain over the last few days and there is no leaks or holes that I noticed. We like the patio door option and the new deck. Thank you for going out of your way to make the flashing match, little things like that are important to me.
We are really happy with it, The end result is exactly want we wanted and expected. I would definitely recommend your business to my friends and family.
